The Sanquin Blood Supply Foundation is responsible for the blood supply in The Netherlands on a not-for-profit basis. Sanquin delivers products and services, conducts scientific investigations and provides education, instruction, in-service training and refresher courses. High-expertise research in the fields of immunology, immunohematology, cellular therapies (a.o. dendritic cells) and infectious diseases is being performed within the setting of the collaborative Landsteiner Laboratory of Sanquin and the Academic Medical Centre of the University of Amsterdam.
