Company Profile

MRC-Holland is a young and dynamical biotechnology company based in a beautiful location in de Baarsjes, Amsterdam West. In January 2002, MRC-Holland introduced the MLPA (multiplex ligation-dependent probe amplification) technique: a new and sensitive method to detect copy number changes in genes. MLPA can be used to identify numerous hereditary diseases, as well as genetic alterations in tumors. Our MLPA products are now being used worldwide by over 600 laboratories and hospitals.
