Company Profile

MEDTECHPARTNERS’ management is conducted by KplusV organisatieadvies. Their tasks include:

  • Scouting inventions in medical technology and assessing their innovativeness and feasibility. Scouting takes place among the associate participants. In addition, the market is targeted through (internet) marketing using the MEDTECHPARTNERS website. Participants are free to propose inventions themselves or through their relations;
  • Proposing feasible inventions to the participants in the form of written proposals. Ensuring that the proposals are presented in person in the participants’ periodical MEDTECH Meeting (7 times per year). This is generally done by the owner or inventor her/himself;
  • Arranging a follow-up appointment with the owner of the invention and the interested participants. After this meeting, the Project Office designs a plan of action for the project and issues guidelines for the cooperation agreement if necessary
  • If so desired, offering project management or counselling to projects in their start-up phase.

MEDTECHPARTNERS is more than only interesting meetings; it has set itself the following goal:

Recently the topsector plan Life Sciences & Health was published and presented to Minister Verhagen, of the so-called ELI Ministry. The document is an amazing compressed 60-pager, based on months of hard work by the group of experts chaired by Roel Fonville, and summarizes the conclusions after dozens of 1-to-1 meetings, five regional group sessions with dozens of opinion leaders and after having received over 170 (!) memo's, white papers and letters of intent.
