Company Profile

Our primary goal from now until the end of 2009 is 'development and production'. An investment from the mibiton Share Fund will enable SMEs to utilize shared facilities and shared equipment.
Mibiton www.mibiton.com brings research and industry as well as companies in the life science sector closer together. Mibiton was founded in 1994 and stimulates research, development and entrepreneurship within the life sciences (biomedical sciences, chemistry, food technology, agro-technology and environmental technology).
Mibiton's main mission until 2000 was 'to ensure that knowledge from universities and institutions becomes accessible by providing crucial equipment, on the condition that this equipment is partly used for collaboration with industry'. In the period between 2000 and 2004 mibiton initiated a number of joint ventures with start-up companies through the Biopartner Facilities Support programme. Starters were hereby able to access advanced equipment for an affordable price by sharing this equipment with a scientific institution.
