Sanquin and NKI win Amsterdam Inventor Award

Sanquin and NKI have received the Amsterdam Inventor Award. The winner was announced at the Amsterdam Inventor Dinner on June 10.

Sanquin/NKI received the prize for their invention T cell epitope selection and immunomonitoring. Research groups from both organisations working together developed two new technologies to identify suitable epitopes that react with T cells, and to make these T-cells visible in the blood. The jury called it a remarkable breakthrough in the field.

The Municipality of Amsterdam and AIM organise the Inventor Dinner to aknowledge the people who are active in research and development in the Amsterdam area.
