Regional promotion at BIO Chicago
The Amsterdam BioMed Cluster and the Life Sciences Center Amsterdam (LSCA) represented the Amsterdam region at the BIO International Convention 2010.
This most important event for life sciences and biotechnology was held from 3-6 May in Chicago. More than 20.000 people visit the event every year. Life Sciences & Health was responsible for the Dutch representation with the noteworthy Mondriaan pavillion.
Partnering is one of the most important aspects of BIO. The LSCA and the technology transfer offices of KNI, AMC and VUmc have used the opportunity well. The BIO was a good chance to promote the Amsterdam region. We got a lot of new ideas, trenghtened existing ties and made new connections.
