Kreatech Diagnostics signs exclusive license deal

Kreatech Diagnostics signs exclusive license deal with Veridex LLC, providing Kreatech direct access to the US market.

Under the terms of the agreement Kreatech Diagnostics gets exclusive and worldwide access to the use of Veridex’s Repeat-Free technology for the production and distribution of innovative DNA screening solutions (FISH and CISH*) for fast and accurate detection of human genetic diseases in cytogenetics and cancer.

The worldwide market exceeds US$ 150 million with an annual growth rate exceeding 10%, whereas the US market is the single largest market for FISH probes. Veridex retains commercialization rights linked to its Circulating Tumor Cell and other rare cell applications.

Kreatech aims at boosting its presence in the US market by partnering with experienced players in the field of molecular diagnostics. Financial details of the license agreement are not disclosed.
