Genzyme reports positive test of Gaucher disease drug

Genzyme reported positive results from a Phase 2 trial of a capsule intended to treat Gaucher disease.

Other treatments for Gaucher disease, including Genzyme’s own Cerezyme, are given to patients intravenously.
