Continuation of TI Pharma remains uncertain
The continuation of TI Pharma remains uncertain after a meeting of the Council of Ministers on May 28.
The Council decided to postpone any final decision on the future of TI Pharma until the new Cabinet is in place. Although a bridging fund of 60 million Euros was requested, only 6 million Euros has been granted. This puts the continuation of TI Pharma at immediate risk.
This decision also calls into question the future of current investments (50 million Euros) from the private sector in innovative drug research in the Netherlands.
