Knowledge Pool

It takes the creation of knowledge, as well as the recognition, collection, integration and implementation of new knowledge to make a successful company. In this light, partners in the Amsterdam BioMed Cluster should benefit from a clear overview, assessment and accessibility of the technology and know how available in the region.

The Amsterdam BioMed Cluster makes an effort of mapping the regional technology base. Participating organisations are asked to submit a company profile listing the knowledge, technologies they offer in the following fields of application:

  • Agro-Food e.g. Veterinary healthcare, biopesticides, plant agriculture, food technology and processing, green biotech
  • Industry & Environment e.g. Biocleaning, bioremediation, environmental diagnostics, industrial diagnostics, water & effluent treatment, waste recycling, white biotech
  • Human Health e.g. Biomaterials, drug delivery, drug discovery, gene therapy, healthcare diagnostics, genomics, vaccines, red biotech
  • General life sciences e.g. Medical technologies, bioprocessing, chemicals, contract research, contract manufacturing; bioinformatics, functional genomics, high throughput screening

Together the organisations that make up the Cluster possess a wealth of knowledge and technology. Be your own scout and make use of the information provided in the Cluster’s Know-who Know-how Directory.
